We provide customized logistics solutions
LOCAL SERVICES
We offer local deliveries for LCL and FCL cargo within KZN, Gauteng, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. All consignments under our control are monitored from receipt of instruction until the cargo has been delivered with status reports.
LONG DISTANCE
We provide cartage channels from the Durban hub to Gauteng, Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, with returns to the Port with status reports.
DEPOT
C & S Logistics has partnered with various depots throughout the country to offer our clients the flexibility of staggered deliveries and security for cargo unable to be unpacked in time. We can store all modes of containers and have access to SOLAS weigh bridges and 24 hour security at these facilities. We offer 10 days free storage at our Durban depot facilities.
PROJECT CARGO
We are able to deliver project, abnormal and break bulk cargo nationally and cross-border. Our service includes storage of abnormal cargo, the arrangement of police escorts, application for permits as well as booking of machines and on-site representation when loading/ offloading cargo.
AFRICA DIVISION
We have since 2016 expanded our reach across into the continent with the inception of our Africa Division department. Using a vast network of cross-border agents and specialist transporters so we can deliver all types of cargo to most neighbouring countries. Our service extends inward for import cargo and outward for export cargo.
WAREHOUSING
We have warehousing facilities in both Durban and Gauteng that are bonded cargo warehouses. We are able to unpack and pack most commodities handled within the country. We also offer hazardous storage, fumigation, cargo tallying, cargo inspection and examinations. Our partner warehouses offer 24-hour security as well as 7 days free storage.
AIR FREIGHT
We offer airfreight deliveries for time sensitive cargo to and from King Shaka International Airport/Cape Town International Airport and OR Tambo.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES OFFERED
Side Lifters
20' and 40' side-lifters from part of our fleet.
Hazardous Cargo
Most of our fleet is hazchem compliant as well as drivers.
Customs
We are able to handle customs bonded cargo.
Maintenance
24 hour in house technical team available in case of breakdown & emergency maintenance to ensure deliveries are effected timeously.
Security / Clamping
We provide security and clamping services for sensitive cargo requiring additional surveillance.
On Site Supervisor
In addition to warehouse staff we provide our own supervisors to oversee loading / offloading of operations cargo at warehouses and ex port for project & break bulk shipments.
Tracking
We offer 24-hour satellite tracking to resolve queries and provide real time position of cargo.
QUALITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT
Our current maximum Goods in transit (GIT) cover is R2 million. With a tailor made insurance package, we are able to extend this cover for special consignments on request. All service providers utilised by us adhere to the same cover and have policies that are in accordance with C & S Logistics requirements.
